    The IMU/ Autopilot software is the embedded software running on the microcontroller of the pxIMU: Autopilot and Inertial Measurement Unit. It reads out the inertial an pressure sensors, calculates the control outputs and actuates the motors and servos. It can be used to control quadrotors, airplanes and even coaxial helicopters.
